Allows service providers to manage the complete recording ecosystem in a flexible manner. It also eliminates the need for individual user storage space in set-top boxes by providing a central location where all recorded programs could be stored and easily accessible.
Besides the immediate savings generated by removing the hard disk from all STB's,
providing customers with the ability of watching any event aired in the past within
a defined time slot (e.g. 1 week) is a game changer (at NOS we named it
TIMEWARP).
Additionally, NOS solution has been evolving to support all the
use cases requested by content providers to ensure there is full compliance with
those concerns. The solution is also ready to address single and multi copy
scenarios.

Gathers all the users rights into a single platform. Responsible for managing the authentication, authorization, auditing and accounting processes in order to deliver accurate responses based on the users permissions and subscribed services.
This solution eliminates the need for different systems to duplicate the same processes, by concentrating responsabilities that can be shared across all devices and platforms that require this information, including all requests received from TV, OTT devices and web platforms.
At NOS, the AAAA platform handles 1.5 million requests daily. The response time of each authentication request is 100ms.
Through public YouTube API's, the YouTube Player allows playing videos from this platform on TV.
Bringing YouTube into the big screen on the household through the STB ads value to the overall TV experience.
NOS has dozens of APPS on the TV. Although the YouTube Player is one of the most recent ones, it already features at the top of the most used ever.
Deliver TV content to any device on the go.
The OTT solution mimics not only the look and feel of the TV solution, but also the features, including the possibility of watching events that already aired. In the future it will allow access to recordings made on the cloud.
